Description

The Nippon Challenge is a race series for modified and production spec Japanese and Asian cars. It doesn’t matter if you have a hatchback, saloon, coupe or sports car. The regulations allow for an extremely varied line up.

Classes:

Class A – GT300 – 300 BHP, 1100 kg

Class B – GT250 – 250 BHP, 1050 kg

Class C – GT200 – 200 BHP, 1000 kg

Class D – GT150 – 150 BHP, 950 kg

Class E – GT Modified

how it works

Format: 

15 minutes duration. A double header format will be used wherever possible i.e. morning practice and two races in the afternoon.

Competition:

There will trophies for the first three in each class in each race, plus trophies for the first three overall. No competitor can win more than one award in a race.

Some rules: 

Tyres: Allowable tyres are any Motorsport UK Blue Book listed/approved treaded tyres.

Costs per season

The beauty of this series is that you have many class options and thus scope for any budget. Track Attack Club has competitors who race Hyundai Coupe’s, MazdaMx5’s, Celica’s and Mr2’s, all of which can be purchased in ready to race from for under £5,000. If you’d like to extend your budget, then there are those in £20,000 Subaru’s and Toyota GT’s who are racing in Class A.

Club membership is £25, Series registration is £150 and entry fees £350 per event.
