Val des Terres Hill Climb is closed- road course featured in the British Hill Climb Championship. Organised by the Guernsey Motorcyle and Car Club, this venue is extremely picturesque and is a real treat for both spectators and drivers. Cars line up alongside the seafront and take off through the tight and flowing corners through the trees.
This course is all about rhythm in the first sector, a series of sweeping left and right corners take you up hill. This section is under the cover of trees and so it can be tricky to spot the apexes where there is less light. The track then opens up at the top of the hill, where drivers are met with a final series of bends, the latter tightening which makes for some entertaining dashes across the line.
Val des Terres is also famous for allowing karts onto the track and so many Rotax and gearbox karts take the challenge up the hill.
