Llandow Circuit 2010
Llandow is family owned circuit in South Wales and about a half an hour drive from Cardiff. The circuit was opened in 1963 after converting the WWII airfield, RAF Llandow. The circuit caters primarily for testing, track days and hosting small events. This is a fantastic circuit for shakedown tests and the testing rates are very reasonable and run like clockwork – both half and full day testing is available. These days are very popular with the likes of hill climb and sprint drivers. Llandow also offers track hire and availability extends from weekdays to weekends, as you’ve probably seen, it is used by the likes of Top Gear and other motoring shows.
Llandow also has an onsite cafe which serves hot and cold food and drink throughout the day. The kart track is a stones throw away from the main track and there is always something motorsport related going on at the venue. This track is well worth a visit.
