A brand new series for 2022 – Based on the Audi TT Coupe

Track Attack boss Steve Vince has announced further plans for the club’s expansion looking to 2022 and beyond. He stated ” Many of our series have been going for some time, as far back as 2004 in some cases and maybe have lost some motivation. So as well as rejuvenating what we already have  we want to widen the appeal by adding to the options to  race with us going forward. With this in mind we are launching a one make/model series based on the Audi TT Coupe.”

Car Specification:

The series will be based to start around the 1998-2006 225bhp variant. To keep costs down there will be no performance and expensive internal engine mod’s allowed, though some changes to springs and shocks will be to enhance handling. All safety features such as  roll cages etc as required by the blue book will of course be obligatory. As TT models are still being built today, the series should have great longevity.

Costs per season

This may be the best value for money for some quick lap times. Steve says that he has a turn key solution for around £5,000 including the car. “You can pick a slightly older TT up for around £1,500, leaving around £3,000 for modifications and race ready prep” Steve says.

Club membership is £25, Series registration is £150 and entry fees £350 per event.
