Description

‘Retro Hatchbacks’, available for sale in the UK prior to January 1992. Up to 1400cc multi-valve and up to 1600cc two-valve-per-cylinder. There is a minimum weight including driver; the winning cars are ballasted. Tightly controlled regulations ensure great racing with maximum value for money. Common cars are the Fiesta XR2i, Peugeot 205 and Vauxhall Nova.

Points will be awarded to Competitors listed as classified finishers in the Final Results as follows: – 25; 22; 20; 18; 16; 14; 12; 11; 10; 9; 8; 7; 6; 5; 4; 3. All other finishers 2. Fastest Lap 1 point. All starters who fail to finish 1.

Costs per season

– Club membership is just £25 for 12 months,
– Season registration is £130
– Double-header weekend entry fees (qualifying and 2 x 15min races) are typically between £240 and £340 depending on the circuit.
– Eligible cars are available secondhand from just £3000.
