My best run at Castle Combe on Saturday. I lost the ability to change gear at the last chicane after an air hose burst. Luckily i was in 5th gear so I still broke the class record and finished 4th.

Anglesey International October 2021, on the final run of the day, I dipped in to the 79’s. One more go and I’ve had nailed Church properly. I’ll have to wait until 2022 when we return in the spring.

This is my record breaking Fastest Time of the Day run from Curborough on the Long course from the weekend. My first ever double lap event, I saved the best till the last run, knocking 0.72s off the previous record, and winning the class by just 0.04s.

Thanks. It’s been really hard to place the microphone so it records the audio without being overwhelmed by the volume. Audio is so important.
Think I’ve got it sorted now.

It was a lot of fun at the weekend, 70mph around Quarry and I reckon there’s another 20mph in the car if I try a bit harder 😀

When you compare your early videos the car (or/and you) looks like it’s working well at the moment – maybe those lockdown aero improvements are paying off! Combes is a bit scary to push it, lots of armco and grass around

Hi James. The car is running a Life Racing F88GDI4 ECU which gives me launch and traction control, both I’ve spent many hours setting up. The car has 4 wheel speed sensors and the ECU maintains 15% wheelspin during Launch which gives a very rapid start. LC then hands over to TC at 30mph. If you goto the Syvecs ecu site they’re essentially the same as the Life Racing ecu’s, just rebranded for the aftermarket tuning scene. Syvecs S8 is the same as my Life F88 ECU. I’ve improved the launch control this year so 0-60 is now around 2.7s. I’ve also fitted a clutch pressure valve to create slip which also reduces wheelspin and leads to…Read More
