The car has been in the UK for circa 15 years after being imported from the USA, with origins at Hendricks Motorsport in the states. The Impalla has primarily been used in demonstrations at many venues around the country, including at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in 2019.

When the owner purchased the car around 10 years ago he noticed an additional sticker on the car relating to movie production. Upon contacting the previous owner in the USA, they said the car was used in the production of various promotional events where Jeff Gordon was hired to attend. The car was also demonstrated at the 2019 Goodwood Festival of Speed and driven by Mick Strafford. The car is a crowd favourite and has been demonstrated at many events around the UK.
