Description

Anglesey Circuit, once an Army training facility, has evolved into one of Europe’s most technically demanding motorsport venues. Originally developed in the 1990s, the circuit underwent a major redevelopment in 2006, transforming it into a premier destination for motorsport events, including BARC and BRSCC championships. With a smooth track surface and a minimum width of 12 meters offering many overtaking opportunities. Anglesey offers both drivers and spectators an exciting and immersive racing experience with the coast just metres from the circuit.

The venue is well-equipped with modern facilities, including a dedicated camping area, shower facilities, and electric hookup points, ensuring a comfortable stay for visitors.

The circuit features four distinct layouts, each offering its own unique challenges:

  • International Circuit – 2.1 miles (3.38 km) of high-speed straights and technical corners
  • Coastal Circuit – 1.55 miles (2.49 km), featuring the thrilling “Corkscrew” section
  • National Circuit – 1.2 miles (1.93 km), offering a balanced mix of speed and precision
  • Club Circuit – 0.8 miles (1.29 km), ideal for club events and training

With its stunning coastal backdrop and challenging layouts, Anglesey Circuit continues to be a favorite among drivers and racing enthusiasts alike.

Top Circuit Features:

  • Church Corner: A fast right-hand turn, especially fun in cars with high downforce.
  • Technical Corkscrew: Toward the end of the circuit features a gradiented left-right combination, demanding on both car and driver.
  • Banked corners: A distinctive 10% banked corner, Nordschleife style!
