Glan-y-Gors is located on the A5 between Corwen and Betws-Y-Coed in North Wales and is now one of the UKs favourite karting venues. It was built in 1999 is often referred to as Wales’s mini-Nurburgring, the quick sweeping bends and varying gradients deliver some great racing. One of the tracks most poignant elements is Devil’s Elbow in the final sector where the track drops away dramatically. There is also a long uphill section called the Dragon Straight, an ultra-fast turn two, in which the there are three ever-tightening right-hand corners and a compression in the middle. This is a fantastic track and well worth a visit.
