Description

Knockhill Racing Circuit is Scotland’s only internationally graded racing circuit by Motorsport UK, the FIA and (S)ACU.

The demanding circuit is a 1.3 mile (2km) track, 30 ft (10m) wide, with a unique series of twists, drops and climbs varying by around 200 ft (60m) from highest to lowest point. A unique feature of the circuit is the licence to run in both Clockwise and Anti-Clockwise configurations. These two circuits gives competitors in Scotland a second circuit and a second challenge. Knockhill hosts club level events, such as Sprints, as well as larger events, such as the British Touring Car Championship. The track is always a favorite with the drivers and offers unique gradient changes and differences in camber around the track.

The picturesque setting is just 30 minutes from Edinburgh and 45 minutes from Glasgow, the circuit boasts stunning views over to the Firth of Forth, the Ochil hills and in the distance Wallace Monument. Facilities include pit garages, onsite fueling, a number of cafes including the Kinnaird’s Bistro.
