Located in the heart of Cumbria, Rowrah is one of the most technical circuits on the calendar as the whole track is laid at the bottom of a disused quarry. As such, the location provides unrivaled spectating from the walls of the quarry, with views of the full circuit. The undulations of the quarry floor mean the circuit has steep gradient changes and unique corners, offering unpredictable races.

The Club continues to run the Lets go Karting Scheme, where you can come along to the circuit and have a go in a race kart, with full tuition and safety equipment. CKRC pioneered the “Racing For Buttons” program, our search for a young driver to become the next Formula 1 sensation, and this was taken up by the Motorsport UK, who introduced the Lets go Karting Scheme to encourage more people into the sport.
