Description

Thruxton is widely recognised as the fastest racing circuit in the country. Its high speed corners have earned it a reputation as a drivers circuit, as well as a great venue for spectators. It is also one of the longest tracks in the UK, each lap is 2.4 miles long, however, a relatively short lap time for the distance.

Thruxton holds many high profile race meetings, such as the British Touring Car and British Superbike Championships. The circuit also holds a range of track days and test days for Motorsport UK license holders. Cambell and Cobb corner breaks up the long fast ‘straight’ (right bend for Allard corner), the circuit then takes you into a few long fast sweeping bends, before the very tricky club chicane at the end of the lap. Thruxton has a great viewing platform at Allard corner, as part of it’s hospitality building. Some other great spots are in the grandstands next to club corner and along the start finish straight.
