The car was previously enjoyed class success in the Scottish Hill Climb championship, driven by George Coghill.
The car went through an extensive ‘nut and bolt’ rebuild and upgrade to bring it up to speed with some of the more modern single seaters. Additional cooling was added, with another radiator and onboard cooling fans, which can be turned on independent to the ignition.
The car ran in the Midland Hill Climb Championship for a few years, running mid pack – at the likes of Shelsley Walsh, Prescott, Loton Park.
