Race Collective spent the weekend with Circuit Rally class winner, Joe Duffy. He has built a name for himself after choosing to rally in the unconventional Lotus Elise.
Joe has had incredible success, he achieved 1st in Class in the Circuit Rally Championship in 2024, over 6 events he had 6 class podiums, including 5 class wins.
The Lotus is getting a new 2 litre engine for 2025, meaning the Joe will be moving up to the new class, taking on some very performant rally machinery.
When we visited Joe, he was apprehensive for Castle Combes first time hosting the Circuit Rally Championship in 40 years. A whole new circuit didn’t seem to phase Joe. Although off to a shaky start with a 10 second gap to Mat Wheeler by the end of the first round, he inched back the time by the third round. Over the course of the weekend, Joe had increased his lead by some margin, comfortably winning his class.
We look forward to seeing Joe’s progress over the 2025 season.
